This Privacy Policy explains how Vyroclips, owned and operated by Capital Investment Group LLC, collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you use our website, applications, and connected publishing features.
1 Information We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, password hash, account preferences, billing plan, and profile data you choose to provide.
Authentication data: If you sign in with Google or connect social accounts, we may receive profile information, account identifiers, access tokens, refresh tokens, and related metadata needed to maintain those connections.
Content and project data: Videos, transcripts, generated clips, captions, thumbnails, scheduling details, and other media-processing outputs you upload or create through the service.
Support data: Messages sent through our contact form, support emails, and related troubleshooting details.
Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser data, log files, cookies, approximate location inferred from network information, and activity within the service.
Payment and subscription data: Subscription status, billing events, and transaction metadata from our payment processor. We do not store full payment card details.
2 How We Use Information
We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, connect and maintain social publishing integrations, process and store media, schedule and publish posts at your direction, improve product performance, protect security, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, send transactional communications, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service.
3 Connected Accounts and Platform Data
When you connect YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or another platform, you authorize us to access only the account data and permissions needed for the features you enable. We use connected-account tokens solely to support account linking, content publishing, status retrieval, and troubleshooting requested by you.
We do not sell connected-account data. We do not use connected-account data for advertising. We do not share connected-account data except as needed to operate the requested platform integration, with service providers acting on our instructions, or as required by law.
Google sign-in and YouTube API Services
Vyroclips uses Google sign-in and YouTube API Services. Google sign-in and connecting a YouTube channel are separate choices. Signing in with Google provides your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture to create or authenticate your Vyroclips account; it does not by itself connect a YouTube publishing destination. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
YouTube data we access: When you authorize a channel, we request read-only access to identify that channel and upload access to publish your clips. We receive the authorized channel's metadata and store its channel ID and name, OAuth access and refresh tokens, connection information, and the video links or IDs returned after publishing. We do not request or store your Google password.
Why we request these permissions: The youtube.readonly permission lets us retrieve the authorized channel's ID and name so you can identify the correct destination, connect multiple channels, and reconnect the matching channel. The youtube.upload permission lets us upload the clips, titles, descriptions, and tags you choose to publish or schedule. Connecting a channel alone does not schedule or publish a video. These features do not request Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or calendar access.
Storage and retention: Google sign-in details are stored with your Vyroclips account. YouTube connection details and tokens are stored in our service database to maintain the connection and perform scheduled uploads. Publishing records include the destination, scheduling information, and returned video link. Disconnecting removes that connection's saved tokens and marks it disconnected. A channel identifier and historical publishing records may remain so reconnection and past activity can be associated with the correct destination. Sharing and human access: We send the video and publishing details to YouTube when you request an upload. Our hosting, database, and infrastructure providers process stored Google data only as needed to operate these features on our behalf. We limit human access to what is necessary for security, legal obligations, or support with your affirmative permission. We do not sell Google user data, share it with advertising platforms, or use it for personalized advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.
AI processing: To provide the clip-generation features you request, transcript excerpts and related project information may be processed by our AI provider, OpenAI. YouTube connection tokens and channel identifiers are not supplied to that provider for clip generation. We do not use Google sign-in data, YouTube channel metadata, or OAuth tokens to train AI models.
Limited Use: We follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, when using or transferring information received from Google APIs. We use that information to provide the account and publishing features described here. These Google-specific limits also apply to the sharing and business-transfer descriptions elsewhere in this policy.
Your control: Disconnect an individual channel in Connected Accounts. You can also revoke Vyroclips' Google authorization from your Google Account permissions. Revocation prevents further use of that authorization but does not itself delete records already stored by Vyroclips or videos already uploaded to YouTube. Email support@vyroclips.com to request deletion of stored Google data or ask questions about its use. Delete already published YouTube videos through YouTube or YouTube Studio.
4 How We Share Information
Service providers: Hosting, storage, analytics, payment, email, AI, and infrastructure vendors that help us operate the service.
Connected platforms: Content, captions, hashtags, and limited account metadata are transmitted to platforms you explicitly connect when you request publishing or account sync.
Legal and safety disclosures: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, investigate fraud, enforce our agreements, or protect users, the public, or Vyroclips.
Business transfers: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to this policy or a successor policy with notice where required.
5 Data Retention
We retain account records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, fraud prevention, billing, and legal compliance. Media and project files are retained as needed to provide the service and according to your plan or storage settings. Connected-account tokens are stored to maintain enabled integrations and removed when you disconnect the account or we complete an account-deletion request. Expired or revoked credentials cannot authorize new platform actions. Google and YouTube data are subject to the specific controls and deletion choices described above.
6 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies for login, security, and product functionality. We may also use analytics or preference technologies to understand usage and improve the service. You can manage cookies through your browser, although disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.
7 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and connected-account data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8 Your Choices and Rights
You may update account details, disconnect social accounts, and request deletion of your account data. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export certain personal data. 9 Children's Privacy
Vyroclips is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.
10 International Transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the service, you understand that data protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
11 Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by additional notice inside the service or by email.
