Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Vyroclips collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our platform. We are committed to transparency and handling your data responsibly.
1 Information We Collect
Account Information: Email address, name (if provided), and authentication credentials when you register. OAuth profile info if signing up via Google.
Content You Import: We temporarily store video files and transcripts on our servers to process and generate clip suggestions. You retain ownership of all imported content.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, clip renders initiated, and Service interactions — used to improve the product.
Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, device info, OS, and referring URLs for security, analytics, and debugging.
Payment Information: Processed by our third-party payment processor. We never store full card numbers or CVV codes.
Social Account Tokens: OAuth access tokens for social publishing, encrypted at rest.
2 How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: provide and operate Vyroclips; process videos and generate clip suggestions; publish clips to connected social accounts at your direction; send transactional emails; respond to support requests; detect fraud and security issues; analyze aggregate usage patterns; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3 How We Share Your Information
Service Providers: Trusted vendors who assist in operating the Service (cloud hosting, AI transcription, payment processing), contractually bound to process data only as instructed.
Social Platforms: When publishing a clip, we transmit the clip and caption data to the social platform you've connected (governed by that platform's terms).
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Vyroclips and its users.
Business Transfers: In a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.
4 Data Retention
Video files: Stored for the duration of your account. Delete projects anytime from the dashboard. Free-tier video files may be purged after 30 days of inactivity.
Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except where legally required.
Logs: Server and access logs retained up to 90 days for security.
5 Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies (authentication, core functionality), analytics cookies (usage patterns), and preference cookies (your settings). You can control cookies via browser settings; disabling some may affect Service functionality.
6 Data Security
We implement: HTTPS encryption for all data in transit; encryption at rest for sensitive data including OAuth tokens; access controls on production systems; and regular security reviews. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
7 Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access your data; correct inaccuracies; delete your data; receive a portable copy; object to certain processing; or withdraw consent. Contact privacy@vyroclips.ai to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days.
8 Children's Privacy
Vyroclips is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
9 International Data Transfers
Vyroclips operates from the United States. If you are located outside the US, your data may be transferred and processed there or where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
